The aim of this doctoral dissertation is to discuss Foucault’s archaeological trajectory from his complementary thesis, Introduction to Kant’s Anthropology, to the publication of The Order of Things: an Archaeology of the Human Sciences. Our guiding thread will be to show the way in which Foucault problematized anthropological-critical relations in these two works. What we suggest is that his thesis on the imminent death of man in our culture can be seen as a diagnosis of our own times. |
