Sopapo Poético como aquilombamento: a construção da identidade das pessoas negras pelo consumo em manifestações culturais em POA/RS

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo é entender como as dinâmicas que acontecem nas manifestações culturais de Porto Alegre/RS, num evento como o sarau Sopapo Poético, feito para as pessoas negras vivenciarem sua cultura, criam um sentido de negritude na vivência dessas pessoas. Entendendo as rupturas do contemporâneo, somadas às noções de racismo, propostas por Silvio-Almeida (2018), o texto dialoga com os conceitos de identidades (Hall, 2014), da cultura adquirida (Garcia-Canclini, 2006;2007), afroconsumo (Santos, 2023). A metodologia tem abordagem qualitativa e um método de inspiração etnográfica (Winkin, 1998), incluindo uma entrevista semi-estruturada para compreender o evento adentrado. Os resultados revelaram que a realização de eventos de cunho identitários produzem formas de consumo coletivo, denominado aquilombamento nas culturas negras, devido às dinâmicas existentes na manifestação. Assim, a identidade negra é potencializada ao adentrar um ambiente construído a partir das premissas culturais, provocando na pessoa um sentimento maior de acolhimento e pertencimento de sua negritude.

The aim of this study is to understand how the dynamics in a cultural manifestations of Porto Alegre/RS, in an event as the sarau Sopapo Poético, made for black people to experience their culture, create a sense of blackness in the experiences of these people. Understanding the ruptures of the contemporary, added to the notions of racism, proposed by Silvio-Almeida (2018), the text dialogue with the concepts of identities (Hall, 2014), of the acquired culture (Garcia-Canclini, 2006; 2007), afroconsume (Santos, 2023). The methodology has a qualitative approach and an ethnographic-inspired method (Winkin, 1998), including a semi-structured interview to understand the entered event. The results revealed that the realization of identityoriented events produce forms of collective consumption, called aquilombing in black cultures, due to the dynamics existing in the manifestation. Thus, the black identity is potentialized by entering an environment built from cultural premises, provoking in the person a greater feeling of welcome and belonging to his blackness.
