| Abstract: | Considerando a sociologia enquanto um campo científico, dentro do qual os objetos de pesquisa são determinados por uma elite intelectual, o presente trabalho é resultado de um estudo exploratório que buscou descobrir e apresentar as formas pelas quais os programas de pós-graduação em sociologia do Brasil trataram do tema “teatro” entre 2008 e 2018. Foram buscadas teses e dissertações nos sites e repositórios digitais dos 53 PPGs avaliados como “Sociologia” pelo Relatório de Avaliação Quadrienal de 2017, oriundos de 48 universidades brasileiras, na tentativa de descobrir quantos trabalhos tratam da temática em questão. Partindo dos conceitos de “campo” e “ciência” de Pierre Bourdieu, a pesquisa visou confirmar se, para o grupo estudado, o teatro é um tema periférico, levando em consideração que o mesmo não faz parte do “[...] conjunto de questões que importam para os pesquisadores, sobre as quais eles vão concentrar seus esforços [...]” (BOURDIEU, 2004, p. 25). A partir disso, foi realizada uma busca nos currículos Lattes dos autores dos trabalhos encontrados, tentado verificar se os mesmos continuaram trabalhando com temáticas relacionadas ao teatro. Além disso, foram criadas categorias, visando dividir os principais temas do trabalho, dentro da grande área do teatro. Tal sondagem foi realizada nos currículos lattes dos autores e orientadores, utilizando a plataforma lattes do CNPq, disponível online. Além das questões do número de trabalhos sobre a temática e dos principais temas tratados, surgiram questões como qual região do país mais produziu sobre a temática e se foram produzidas mais teses ou dissertações. Foram encontrados 22 trabalhos dentro das diversas produções dos PPGs de sociologia no Brasil. Além disso, é possível afirmar que os principais temas tratados são relacionados a autores específicos, que a região sudeste foi a que mais produziu nesse período e que foram produzidas mais dissertações entre os anos de 2008 e 2018. O principal foco desta pesquisa foi realizar um levantamento de dados que possibilite não só criar uma base para trabalhos futuros, mas também valorizar a produção na área.
Considering sociology as a scientific field, in which research objects are determined by an intellectual elite, the present work is the result of an exploratory study that sought to discover and present the ways in which Brazilian postgraduate programs in sociology treated the theme “theater” between 2008 and 2018. Theses and dissertations were searched on the websites and digital repositories of the 53 postgraduate programs evaluated as “Sociology” by the 2017 Quadrennial Evaluation Report, from 48 Brazilian universities, trying to find out how many works deal with the theme in question. Starting from Pierre Bourdieu's concepts of “field” and “science”, the research aimed to confirm whether, for the group studied, theater is a peripheral theme, considering that it is not part of the “[...] set of questions that matter to researchers, on which they will concentrate their efforts [...]” (BOURDIEU, 2004, p. 25). From this, a search was made in the Lattes curriculum of the authors of the found works, trying to verify if they continued working with themes related to the theater. In addition, 6 categories were created, aiming to divide the main themes of the work, within the great area of the theater. This survey was conducted in the authors' and advisor's lattes curricula, using the CNPq lattes platform, available online. In addition to the issues of the number of papers on the theme and the main topics addressed, questions arose as to which region of the country produced the most on the topic and whether more theses or dissertations were produced. We found 22 works within the various productions of sociology PPGs in Brazil. In addition, it is possible to state that the main topics addressed are related to specific authors, that the southeast region produced the most during this period and that more dissertations were produced between 2008 and 2018. The focus of this research was to conduct a data collection that makes it possible not only to create a basis for future work, but also to value production in the area. |
