| Abstract: | O presente estudo se dedica a compreender a atuação do jornalismo na construção da memória do indivíduo da sociedade sobre o contexto em que está inserido, a partir da análise de conteúdo da cobertura jornalística dos sites GaúchaZH, Carta Capital e Renova Mídia, acerca do evento que envolveu uma jovem marcada com uma suástica na barriga, em Porto Alegre, incidente datado de 10 de outubro de 2018. A diversidade de fontes de informação de que dispomos atualmente ilustra uma ampla gama de possibilidades de leitura sobre um mesmo fato, condicionada principalmente pelos interesses de quem produz o conteúdo. O indivíduo, que deposita nestes veículos a confiança de que o que está escrito é condizente com a verdade, cria a imagem da sua própria realidade a partir das informações ali despostas, motivo pelo qual informações factuais não podem ser divergentes de acordo com as posições editoriais do veículo. Concluímos que a forma com que a mídia evidencia certos assuntos em detrimento de outros, conforme a hipótese do agenda setting também influenciam na construção da realidade no imaginário do público, caracterizando, assim, um ponto de atenção para os profissionais que se dedicam a trabalhar com a verdade. Para tanto, apoiar-nos-emos em autores como Michel (2015), Lage (2013) e Matheus (2011) para tratar do dever de memória no jornalismo. Contamos também com a contribuição de Porto (2018), Sirena (2013) e Hohlfeldt (2002) para o entendimento das questões mais teóricas sobre o jornalismo e, em especial, da hipótese do agenda setting. Para a referência no que toca aos fenômenos do jornalismo político propriamente dito, valemo-nos das obras de Albino (2004), Soares (2016) e Matos (2008). Para os processos de análise de conteúdo e construção de inferências, nossa referência encontra-se em autores como Bardin (1977) e Fonseca Junior (in DUARTE, BARROS, 2006).
The present study is dedicated to understand the role of journalism in the construction of the memory of the subject in society about them own context, based on the content analysis of journalistic coverage from GaúchaZH, Carta Capital and Renova Mídia websites, about the event tha involved a young woman marked whit a swastika in her belly, in Porto Alegre, an incident dated october 2018. The diversity of sources of information we have today illustrates a large range of possibilities for reading about the same fact, conditioned mainly by the convictions of those who produce that content. The subject, who places in these vehicles the confidence that what is written in condistent with the truth, creates the image of his own reality from the information therein, so that factual information can not be divergente according to the editorial positions of the vehicle. We conclude that the way in which the media exposes certain subjects to te detrimento of others, accordin to the hypothesis of agenda setting, also influence the construction of reality in the public imagination, thus characterizing a point of attention for the professionals who are dedicated to working with the truth. To do so, we will rely on authors such as Michel (2015), Lage (2013) and Matheus (2011) to deal with the duty of memory in journalism. We also count on the contribution of Porto (2018), Sirena (2013) and Hohlfeldt (2002) to the understanding of the most theoretical questions about journalism and, especially, the agenda setting hypothesis. For reference to the phenomena of political journalism proper, we use the works of Albino (2004), Soares (2016) and Matos (2008). For the processes of content analysis and construction of inferences, our reference is in authors such as Bardin (1977) and Fonseca Junior (in DUARTE, BARROS, 2006). |
