| Abstract: | Este trabalho propõe que os mangás são capazes de contribuir com o letramento literário dos alunos do ensino médio. Sua hipótese é a de que as HQs japonesas, por serem constituídas de imagens e por contarem com linguagem de fácil entendimento, podem despertar o hábito da leitura nos jovens. Para averiguar essas questões, serão referenciados autores como Luyten, McCloud e Eisner, estudiosos do gênero dos quadrinhos; e Cosson, que discorre sobre letramento literário, as contribuições que as HQs podem ter para este e sobre a capacidade dos círculos de leitura em contribuir à formação de leitores. Dessa forma, devido ao crescimento da indústria dos mangás nos últimos anos e à fortificação desta graças aos animês, serão sugeridas abordagens que têm o propósito de explorar a linguagem dos quadrinhos japoneses em círculos de leitura, com a intenção de incentivar o hábito da leitura aos alunos.
This work proposes that manga comics contribute to the literacy of high school students. The hypothesis is that Japanese comics use images and easy-to-understand language, making them attractive to readers, which has the potential to awaken the reading habit in young people. To discuss these ideas, several authors will be referenced, such as Luyten, McCloud and Eisner, scholars of the comic book genre, and Cosson, who talks about literacy, the contributions that comics make to it and about the capacity of reading circles to contribute to the formation of readers. Thus, due to the growth of the manga industry in recent years, and its strengthening thanks to anime, approaches will be suggested with the purpose of exploring the language of Japanese comics, with the intention of encouraging readership. |
