Processos motivacionais docente : a realidade de uma escola privada de educação básica durante a pandemia

Abstract

A Pandemia da Covid-19 trouxe ao mundo um novo modo de vida e uma nova forma de fazer escola. No Brasil, a pandemia já vitimou mais de 600 mil pessoas, restringiu as atividades escolares presenciais e mudou a rotina de todos os professores do país. Diante deste contexto educacional complexo, a motivação de professores e a teoria da autodeterminação surgem como pauta deste estudo, com o objetivo de entender a constituição dos seus perfis motivacionais e como eles influenciam no dia a dia profissional durante a pandemia e o ensino remoto emergencial em uma pesquisa mista. Para tanto, foram aplicados questionários em 36 professores, com o intuito de identificar o perfil motivacional dos participantes e compreender como seus escores motivacionais podem apresentar subsídios significativos para a análise da motivação dos professores, valendo-se da Escala de Motivação docente de autoria de Davoglio e Santos (2016). A pesquisa, de natureza mista, teve como análise dos resultados, a realização comparativa dos escores e a comparação dos valores obtidos com os elementos oriundos da teoria da autodeterminação. Com os resultados, foi possível identificar que a maioria dos profissionais detém perfis que se aproximaram da autodeterminação, das necessidades básicas de competência, autonomia e pertencimento, o que possibilita compreender como a escola viveu o período remoto emergencial e seus desdobramentos.

The Covid-19 Pandemic brought to the world a new way of life and a new way of doing school. Furthermore, in this complex educational context, teacher motivation theory and self-terminating theory are in the center of this study. Therefore, questionnaires were applied to 36 teachers, with the aim of identifying the motivational profile of the participants and understanding how their motivational scores can provide significant subsidies for the analysis of teachers' motivation, according to the Teacher Motivation Scale by Davoglio and Santos (2016). As a result, it was possible to identify that a major part of professionals were closed to self-determination, basic needs of competence, autonomy and belonging profiles. These findings make it possible to understand how the school lived the remote emergency period and its consequences.
