| Abstract: | Esta dissertação tem como tema o diálogo entre a teologia e as ciências naturais, para avaliar as diferenças e as possibilidades de aproximação, visando uma aliança no trabalho em comum pelo futuro da vida no planeta que está ameaçada. Para isso, serão avaliadas as duas metodologias, no que tem de diferente e em comum, e serão utilizados dois personagens, Galileu e Abraão, como representantes de dois olhares diversos e complementares. A reflexão culminará na Doutrina Trinitária da Criação de Moltmann que afirma a transcendência e imanência de Deus na história, conduzindo-a não a uma catástrofe, mas a plena realização.
