Abstract

Essa graça que é olhar atrás é uma novela que acompanha três momentos cruciais da vida de Magda, sua personagem principal. Neste trabalho, além da leitura do texto ficcional, podemos acompanhar o registro da Trajetória de escrita: ensaio que demonstra onde e como o processo criativo das personagens e enredo ganhou corpo. Estão ali reflexões sobre alguns dilemas autorais, comentários sobre as obras ficcionais e teóricas que influenciaram a produção e, por fim, as pesquisas que subsidiaram o manejo de conhecimentos específicos na narrativa, principalmente sobre patologias psiquiátricas e seus tratamentos, um elemento chave da trama.

Essa graça que é olhar atrás is a short novel that accompanies three crucial moments in life of Magda, its main character. In this work, besides reading the fictional text, we can follow the record of the Writing path: an essay that shows where and how the creative process of characters and plot grew up. There are thoughts on some of the author's dilemmas, commentaries on the fictional and theoretical works that influenced the production, and, at last, the research that subsidized the management of specific knowledge in the storytelling, especially on psychiatric pathologies and their treatments, some important elements of the novel.
