A pessoa humana é relação: a dignidade e a responsabilidade humana na cosmovisão de São Boaventura

Abstract

A proposta dessa tese é analítica e sintética, dividida em três capítulos. O primeiro, busca analisar a noção de pessoa como relação em São Boaventura (1217-1274), avaliando a possível contribuição dessa definição para sintetizar a ideia de dignidade e responsabilidade humana em nosso tempo. São Boaventura acolhe da tradição filosófica ocidental a noção de pessoa, postulada por Boécio. Acrescentando a relação, que na cosmovisão boaventuriana tem sentido ontológico, de ‘um constitutivo essencial’ a imagem de Deus Uno e Trino. A pessoa humana é uma realidade aberta, dinâmica, de ‘respectividade do ser’ e autodeterminada, recriando uma nova forma de ser e estar-no-mundo. No segundo capítulo, a intenção é a partir do Itinerarium Mentis in Deum (1259) assumir que a proposta de uma antropologia relacional está presente em São Francisco de Assis. E que São Boaventura fundamenta suas teorias a partir da experiência concreta e existencial do fundador da ordem franciscana. No terceiro capítulo, pretende-se apresentar que há em São Boaventura indícios de uma cosmovisão que permite um entendimento do EU, do outro, do mundo e do transcendente dentro duma visão ecológica, sustentável e responsável. A visão de uma fraternidade cósmica pode contribuir para que o humano, a partir da autodeterminação, constitua-se e resitue-se numa nova ordem de relação consigo mesmo, com tudo e com todos. E a partir da descoberta de sua dignidade e grandeza, reconheça também suas limitações, assumindo a existência dentro de uma perspectiva que equacione dignidade, responsabilidade, progresso em todos os sentidos e a sustentabilidade.

The purpose of this thesis is analytical and synthetic, divided into three chapters. The first, seeks to analyze the notion of relationship in person as St. Bonaventure (1217- 1274), evaluating the possible contribution of this definition to synthesize the idea of human dignity and responsibility in our time. St. Bonaventure hosts the Western philosophical tradition the notion of person, postulated by Boethius. Adding an interface, this in the bonaventurian worldview makes an ontological sense ‘one essential constituent’ the image of the Triune God. The human person is an open reality, dynamic, 'respectively of being' self-determined and recreating a new way of being and being-in-world. In the second chapter, the intent is from the Itinerarium Mentis in Deum (1259) assume that the proposal for a relational anthropology is present in St. Francis of Assisi. And that St. Bonaventure based their theories from the concrete and existential experience of the founder of the Franciscan order. The third chapter intends to present that there is evidence of a St. Bonaventure cosmovision that allows an understanding of the ‘I ’, on the other, the world and the transcendent vision within a green, sustainable and responsible. The vision of a cosmic brotherhood can contribute to the human, from the self, constituting up and puts in perspective in a new order with himself, with everything and everyone. And from the discovery of its dignity and magnitude, it also recognizes its limitations, assuming the existence within a perspective that balances the dignity, responsibility, progress in every sense and sustainability.
