A construção de narrativas literárias no jornalismo: análise da obra A vida que ninguém vê, de Eliane Brum

Abstract

A presente monografia visa a analisar a construção de narrativas literárias no jornalismo, por meio da relação entre jornalismo e literatura, fonte e personagem, e das técnicas de produção do jornalismo literário nas reportagens do livro A vida que ninguém vê, de Eliane Brum. Para compreender a narrativa jornalística, e a consequente relação com a literatura, são utilizados autores como: Lima (1993), Pena (2006), Resende (2002), Castro (2008) e Wolfe (2005). Já para entender a relação entre fonte e personagem no jornalismo, bem como a importância da valorização humana na reportagem, serviram como base deste estudo autores como: Brait (1985), Lage (2001), Kotscho (1995) e Vilas Boas (2003). Os teóricos supracitados serviram de apoio para responder ao problema central da pesquisa, que consiste em compreender de que forma os elementos literários contribuem para narrativas no jornalismo e como eles se apresentam nas reportagens de A vida que ninguém vê. Como procedimentos metodológicos, a pesquisa utiliza as técnicas de pesquisa bibliográfica, proposta por Stumpf (2005), e de análise de conteúdo, de Bardin (2016), nas reportagens História de um Olhar, Enterro de Pobre e Sinal Fechado para Camila. Com base na análise, foi possível compreender que as reportagens produzidas por Eliane Brum são de cunho literário por apresentarem, em diversos pontos da narrativa, elementos que comprovam tal tipo jornalístico.

The present monograph aims to analyze the construction of literary narratives in journalism, through the relationship between journalism and literature, source and character and the techniques of production of literary journalism in the reports of the book The life that nobody sees, by Eliane Brum. To understand the journalistic narrative and the consequent relationship with literature, authors such as Lima (1993), Pena (2006) Resende (2002), Castro (2008) and Wolfe (2005) are used. To understand the relationship between source and character in journalism and the importance of human valorization in reporting, authors such as Brait (1985), Lage (2001), Kotscho (1995) and Vilas Boas (2003) served as the basis for this study. The aforementioned theorists served as support to answer the central problem of the research, which consists in understanding how literary elements contribute to narratives in journalism and how they present themselves in the reports of The life that nobody sees. As methodological procedures, the research uses the techniques of bibliographic research proposed by Stumpf (2005) and content analysis, by Bardin (2016), in the stories History of a Look, Burial of the Poor and Closed Sign for Camila. Based on the analysis, it was possible to understand that the reports produced by Eliane Brum are of a literary nature because they present, in several points of the narrative, elements that prove this journalistic type.
