A concepção de jornalismo para o The Intercept Brasil: uma análise das primeiras três reportagens da série “Vaza Jato”

Abstract

A presente monografia tem como tema a concepção de jornalismo posta em prática pelo The Intercept Brasil. O objeto de estudo são as três primeiras reportagens da série “Vaza Jato”. O principal objetivo da pesquisa é verificar se o veículo cumpriu as características de jornalismo investigativo e os preceitos do Código de Ética dos Jornalistas Brasileiros, além de observar se houve objetividade por parte do site. O autor decidiu analisar esse material principalmente porque expõe ilegalidades cometidas por Sergio Moro enquanto era juiz da maior iniciativa que visa o combate à corrupção no Brasil, a Operação Lava Jato. Os procedimentos metodológicos escolhidos para a elaboração deste estudo foram pesquisas bibliográfica e documental e análise de conteúdo. Foi observado que o veículo cumpriu 11 das 13 características de jornalismo investigativo, cinco dos seis preceitos do código selecionados e três das cinco principais noções de objetividade.

This monograph has as its theme the concept of journalism put into practice by Intercept Brazil. The object of study are the first three reports of the "Vaza Jato" series. The main objective of the research is to verify if the vehicle has fulfilled the characteristics of investigative journalism and the precepts of the Code of Ethics of Brazilian Journalists. Besides observing if there was objectivity on the part of the site. The author decided to analyze this material mainly because it exposes illegalities committed by Sergio Moro while he was judge of the biggest initiative to combat corruption in Brazil, Operation Lava Jato. The methodological procedures chosen for the elaboration of this study were bibliographic and documental research and content analysis. It was observed that the vehicle fulfilled 11 of the 13 characteristics of investigative journalism, five of the six precepts of the code selected and three of the five main notions of objectivity.
