| Resumen: | Essa pesquisa propõe uma análise comparativa entre fotojornalismo e fotoetnografia, observando ambos os modelos através de uma única narrativa fotográfica. Desenvolve-se, para tanto, os conceitos de fotojornalismo e fotorreportagem, trabalhando com as definições de ambos. Paralelamente, estuda-se os conceitos de antropologia, etnografia e antropologia visual, chegando à fotoetnografia. Através de pesquisa bibliográfica e de análise de imagem adaptada para esta monografia, definiuse os quatro critérios a serem analisados. Foi feita uma pré-análise comparando um exemplo de fotorreportagem e um exemplo de fotoetnografia. Através dos conhecimentos obtidos durante a pesquisa, realizou-se a análise de uma narrativa fotográfica produzida pelo autor, buscando observar ambos os modelos através desta narrativa. Para tanto, analisou-se o processo integral da prática fotográfica. Envolvendo planejamento, comportamento, habilidades e edição próprios de cada modelo. Buscou-se fazer esta comparação utilizando simultaneamente o conteúdo visual da narrativa e uma análise textual própria desta monografia para melhor compreensão da proposta. A partir destes pontos, concluiu-se que fotojornalismo e fotoetnografia apresentam divergências em pontos como a relação com o texto e o tempo disponível. Paralelamente, perceberam-se semelhanças no que se busca fotografar em ambos os modelos, implicando que fotografias produzidas no contexto do fotojornalismo possam ter valor para uma fotoetnografia e vice-versa.
This Research proposes a comparative analysis between the photojournalism and photoetnography, comparing both models through a single photographic narrative. For that, the concepts of photojournalism and reportage photography are developed, working with the definitions of both. In parallel, the concepts of anthropology, ethnography and visual anthropology are stated, leading to photoetnography. Through bibliographical research and the adaptation of image analysis, four points to be analyzed were established. A pre-analysis was made comparing an example of reportage photography and an example of photoetnography. Through the knowledge obtained during the research, an analysis of a photographic narrative produced by the author was made, seeking to identify the characteristics of both models in this narrative. For this, the entire process of photographic practice was analyzed. Involving planning, behavior, skills and editing specific to each model. It was seeked to make this comparison using simultaneously the visual content of the narrative and a textual analysis proper to this monograph for a better understanding of the proposal. From these points, it was concluded that photojournalism and photoetnography present divergences in points such as the relationship with the text and the available time. At the same time, similarities were noticed in what the photographer seeks to capture in both models, implying that photographs produced in the context of photojournalism may have value for photoetnography and vice versa. |
