A prospecção pós-moderna da comunicação visual no imaginário de Frida Kahlo

Abstract

A presente tese discute a hipótese de que as imagens da prospecção pósmoderna das obras da pintora modernista Frida Kahlo suscitem interpretações convergentes com as necessidades atuais, e que, paralelo a isto, haja uma identificação com sua figura e obra. À luz da Hermenêutica de Profundidade (THOMPSON, 1995), nosso trabalho começa no entendimento teórico da imagem, relacionando a comunicação visual com a história da visualidade do homem e, portanto, de seu imaginário. Caminho que nos leva às imagens modernas de Frida, cuja análise e interpretação servirão de suporte para o posterior entendimento das imagens contemporâneas prospectadas a partir destas. Através da tríplice análise das imagens modernas (a obra) e pós-moderna (da mídia), traçamos inferências sobre a identidade e gênero, moda e sedução geradas pelas imagens de Kahlo no contemporâneo, cumprindo os objetivos propostos e comprovando a tese a qual este trabalho se propôs.

The present thesis discusses the hypothesis which the images of the post-modern prospection of the work by the modernist painted Frida Kahlo allow convergent interpretations to the present necessities and identification with her own image and paintings. To the light of the depth hermeneutics (THOMPSON, 1995), our paper begins with theorical understanding of the image, relating the visual communication to the history of the man visualization. Therefore, his imaginary, leading us to the modern images painting of Frida, which analysis and interpretation will provide support to the post-understanding of the contemporaneous image prospect from those. Throughout, the triple analysis of the modern images (the work of art) and post-modern (the medium), we draw inferences upon identity and genre, fashion and seduction resulted by Kahlo’s images in the contemporaneous, keeping to the suggested objectives proving the thesis of this research.
