| Abstract: | Com o título O Estado Intermediário na Escatologia de Juan Luis Ruiz de la Peña: uma análise da obra La Otra Dimensión entre os anos de 1975 e 1986, o trabalho dissertativo versa sobre como o teólogo desenvolve seu pensamento escatológico tendo o documento Algumas questões respeitantes à escatologia, publicado em 1979 pela Congregação para a Doutrina da Fé, como referencial dogmático. O pensamento é analisado desde uma proposta antropológica cujas bases estão fundamentadas no pensamento bíblico e patrístico resgatados pela redescoberta escatológica ocorrida no século XX. Tal visão apresenta o ser humano como um status ontológico integral, onde corpo e alma não são colocados como opostos, mas complementares; essa proposta visa superar a visão dualista platônica assumida na visão escatológica tradicional que assume o esquema representativo da morte como separação corpo e alma. Ruiz de la Peña apresenta, em sua obra, uma proposta teológica que não admite tal esquema representativo. Na primeira edição da obra em análise (1975), Ruiz de la Peña assume a ideia da ressurreição na morte, mas, com publicação do documento magisterial em 1979, o teólogo percebe a necessidade de repensar sua escatologia. Assim, a segunda edição da obra publicada em 1986 toma por base uma linguagem mais sistemática e propõe a ressurreição como um evento distinto da morte, mas não distante cronologicamente, uma vez que, pela morte, o ser humano deixa de pertencer à dupla coordenada tempo/espaço e passa a existir em uma eternidade participada em Deus. A mudança operada entre as duas publicações está em admitir a ideia de uma alma separada, mas não sujeita a temporalidade, sendo o sujeito da retribuição pós-morte não apenas uma parte do ser humano (alma), mas sua totalidade corporal e espiritual.
With the title the Intermediate State in the Eschatology of Juan Luis Ruiz de la Peña: an analysis of La Otra Dimensión between 1975 and 1986, the dissertative work deals with how the theologian develops his eschatological thought having the document some questions concerning the eschatology, published in 1979 by the congregation for the doctrine of the faith, as a dogmatic reference. Thought is analyzed from an anthropological proposal whose basis is based on biblical and patristic thinking rescued by the eschatological rediscovery that occurred in the twentieth century. Such a view presents the human being as an integral ontological status, where body and soul are not placed as opposites but complementary; this proposal aims to overcome the platonic dualistic view assumed in the traditional eschatological view that assumes the representative scheme of death as body and soul separation. Ruiz de la Peña presents in his work a theological proposal that does not admit such a representative scheme. In the first edition of the work under analysis (1975) Ruiz de la Peña takes up the idea of the resurrection at death, but with the publication of the magisterial document in 1979 the theologian realizes the need to rethink his eschatology. Thus, the second edition of the work published in 1986 is based on a more systematic language and proposes resurrection as an event distinct from death, but not distant chronologically, since by death the human being no longer belongs to the double coordinate time / space. And comes into existence in an eternity shared in god. The change wrought between the two publications is in admitting the idea of a separate soul, but not subject to temporality, being the subject of postmortem retribution not just a part of the human being (soul), but his bodily and spiritual wholeness. |
