Laserterapia para o tratamento de alveolite: revisão sistemática

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar uma revisão sistemática para obter evidências científicas se a LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy) pode ser uma alternativa viável e eficaz para o tratamento de alveolite dentária, em comparação com outras terapias já utilizadas e descritas na literatura para este intuito. A busca sistemática na literatura foi efetuada nas bases de dados PubMed, EMBASE, Biblioteca Cochrane. A literatura cinza foi investigada no Google Acadêmico. Os artigos encontrados passaram por um critério de seleção e elegibilidade por dois autores de maneira cega e independente. Após a seleção dos estudos elegíveis, realizou-se uma busca manual nas referências desses, fez-se extração dos dados e a análise de qualidade dos mesmos. Através da busca nas bases de dados foram encontrados 2324 artigos. Após a leitura do título e do resumo, foram selecionados 39 artigos que aparentemente preenchiam os critérios de inclusão (12 no PubMed, 7 no EMBASE, 2 na Cochrane e 18 no Google acadêmico. A partir disso, foi realizada a leitura completa dos artigos, sendo observados minunciosamente os critérios de elegibilidade da pesquisa. Ao final foram selecionados 4 artigos que foram incluídos para análise dos dados. O coeficiente de concordância entre investigadores foi κ = 0.835 viés. Com o presente estudo, chegou-se a uma conclusão que a LLLT utilizada para o tratamento de alveolite, permite que se consiga fazer um tratamento adequado tanto em termos de redução de dor como em cicatrização da ferida em um menor tempo. A literatura atual acerca do tema, forneceu quatro artigos, os quais, foram avaliados e têm limitações. A realização de novos estudos com qualidade metodológica e amostral é fundamental para possibilitar que esta prática terapêutica seja cada vez mais realizada de forma segura e eficiente. Além disso, realizar estudos que avaliem também a prevenção da alveolite, a fim de minimizar a necessidade de tratamento posterior, pois trata-se de uma situação que causa um grande desconforto para o paciente e ocorre corriqueiramente na pratica clínica do Cirurgião-Dentista.

After the selection of the eligible studies, a manual search in the references of these, a data extraction and a quality analysis were done. Through the search in the databases were found 2324 articles. After reading the title and the abstract, we selected 39 articles that met the criteria for inclusion (12 in PubMed, 7 in EMBASE, 2 in Cochrane and 18 in academic Google. The coeficiente of concordance were 0.835 with the present study, it was concluded that LLLT Used for the treatment of dry socket , it allows to be able to make a suitable treatment. With the present study, a conclusion was reached that LLLT used for dry socket treatment, allows for more adequate treatment and reduction in wound healing in the shortest possible time. The current literature on the subject has provided four articles, which have been evaluated and have limitations. The realization of new studies with methodological and sample quality is fundamental to enable this therapeutic practice to be increasingly performed safely and efficiently.
