| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo identificar e analisar as principais causas desencadeadoras dos crimes de violência praticados contra as mulheres, nas relações de gênero, no município de Lages/SC. Situada no planalto sul da Serra Catarinense, região considerada uma das menos violentas do estado, Lages apresenta índices de violência contra a mulher maiores que os índices do estado em que está localizado. Além de pesquisa bibliográfica ancorada nos diversos campos das ciências criminais e nos estudos feministas, o trabalho realiza uma análise documental dos inquéritos policiais relacionados à violência contra a mulher, no ano de 2016, em Lages, a fim de verificar o tipo de violência praticada, a motivação para tais crimes, a condição socioeconômica da mulher em situação de violência e a do homem autor de violência, os meios utilizados para a prática da violência e a influência do uso de álcool e drogas na ação do agressor. A abordagem metodológica adotada é de cunho quantitativo-descritivo, por recorrer a procedimentos e técnicas de estudo estatístico para geração de dados. Por fim, os resultados demonstram que baixa escolaridade, desemprego ou trabalhos mal remunerados são condições que se destacam entre os agressores e as vítimas e que, do total das mulheres agredidas, 98,4% tinham ou antes possuíam algum vínculo com o agressor, sendo que, em 82,3% dos casos, o agressor era seu parceiro ou ex-parceiro íntimo. Percebe-se também pelos dados que 78,2% das mulheres agredidas e 65,8% dos agressores eram naturais de Lages e sua microrregião. Com essa informação, infere-se que os altos índices de violência na cidade, que destoam do resto do estado, possam ter relação com questões culturais daquela população, em que se destaca sua “cultura da fazenda”, marcada por um ideário patriarcal.
The objective of this research was to identify and analyze the main causes of violence against women, involving gender relations in the municipality of Lages/SC, which is located in the southern plateau of the Catarinense Serra, considered one of the least violent areas of the state. Lages has higher rates of violence against women than the state indexes in which it is located. In addition to bibliographical research anchored in the various fields of the criminal sciences and in feminist studies, the work performs documentary analyses of police inquiries related to violence against women in 2016 in Lages, to verify the type of violence practiced, the crime motivation, the socioeconomic condition of the woman in the violent situation and the man who perpetrated violence, the means used to practice the violence, and the influence of alcohol and drug use on the aggressor's actions. The methodological approach adopted is quantitative-descriptive, using statistical procedures and study techniques to generate data. Finally, the results show that low educational levels, unemployment, and low paying jobs are conditions that stand out for both aggressors and victims. The total of the battered women, 98.4% had or previously had some link with the aggressor, being that in 82.3% of cases, the perpetrator was a partner or former intimate partner. It was also noticed that 78.2% of the battered women, and 65.8% of the aggressors were born in Lages and its micro-region. It is inferred that the high levels of violence in the city, which are disproportionate with the rest of the state, may be related to cultural issues within the population, in which a "farm culture", marked by a patriarchal ideology, stands out. |
